Re mixing

The Process from Enquiry to finished product

There are multiple options for Re Mixing songs available to Bands & Singer Song writers.

  • Subtle Changes with Instrument additions or deleations. for example you may want an 'Unplugged Version' with just Acoustic & Vocals to bring a more intimate feel to your song
  • Genre Change where you would like to take the song in a different direction to apeal to a different audience that may have not heard your music before

The Remixing Process

As with the Mixing process we would have a discussion so i can understand what direction you are looking to take your song / songs. This may be some minor changes / edits or some more drastic changes like a complete genre change. By nature these processes are more complicated and time consuming, these would also require more input from you 'The Artist', as these will include the Production of the song / songs being worked on to get the correct results you are looking for.

As a guide i'm able to carry out the following processes to formulate the Re Mix you are looking for as well as the standard methods used within the Mixing process

  • Drum replacement
  • Sound design / replacement
  • Instrument Deleat
  • Instrument Addition
  • Audio Editing

The Format of the riles required would be the same as for mixing.

  • Individual Instrument / Vocal tracks
  • Files to be WAV format
  • Minimum 44.1 kHz & Sample rate at 24bit
Remixing Controller

Once we have established your requirements following the above process, i would then be in a position to provide a quote for my work. As every project is different each qoute is specific to the artist's requirements and the provided information.

The Remixing schedule will be similar as detailed within the Mixing section for the issue of reference mix's for review, but for the added areas of production this is where we would arrange meeting/s to discuss these elements in greater detail.

All Tracks and Songs associated with the Re-Mix will be saved within the complete project file for you to retain or use how you wish. I would also keep a copy archived for any future revisions should you wish.

None of the Tracks or Songs for used or produced for your project for other project or distributed / shared / posted or used on my portfolio without the written concent of you' The Artist'. Please refer to the T&C's contained within my quote for further details and clarifications.
